Football Boot Repair in Korea: A Simple Guide for Foreigners

You play in a Sunday league in Seoul, your boots are falling apart, and every repair shop you find is in Korean only. This guide explains how to get your football boots or futsal shoes repaired at our workshop, in English, without visiting first.
Who we are
Lee&Yang is a football boot repair and custom boot workshop in Goyang, right next to Seoul. We replace worn soles, re-glue separating uppers, adjust sizes and make custom boots by hand.

Step 1. Send photos and get a quote

Send a photo of the side of each boot, the sole, and any damage up close. Tell us what you want, for example "new AG sole" or "studs worn down". If you already like one of our soles, add its number from the sole catalog. We reply with a price and timeline within 2 to 4 hours.
Step 2. Visit or send your boots by courier
Option A. Visit the workshop
Book a time on Naver Booking or ask us on WhatsApp. Please do not come without an appointment.
Option B. Send them by courier
You do not need to come in. Any domestic parcel service works, such as the post office or a convenience store parcel counter.
- Message us first, then send the parcel to the Korean address below. You pay the shipping to us.
- Put a note inside with your name, phone number, return address and what you want done. You can copy the Korean note below.
- Return shipping is about US$2 (KRW 3,000), added to the repair fee.

Step 3. We repair and send them back
The work usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, up to a month in busy periods. We message you when your boots are ready, then ship them back or you pick them up.
Prices at a glance
- Resoling, most soles: about US$37 (KRW 50,000)
Kids AG and non-cushioned futsal soles: about US$29 (KRW 40,000) - New midsole, needed on most boots: + about US$15 (KRW 20,000)
- Size adjustment, only with resoling: Small changes free, bigger changes about US$22 (KRW 30,000)
- Return shipping: about US$2 (KRW 3,000)
