How to Photograph Your Football Boots for a Repair Quote

We quote most repairs from photos alone, usually within 2 to 4 hours. Good photos mean an accurate price the first time and no back-and-forth. Here is exactly what to send, even if your boots look beyond saving.
The five photos we need
- Outer side of each boot, shot straight on, the whole boot in frame.
- The sole of each boot, from directly below, so we can see stud wear and any cracks.
- Close-ups of any damage: a gap between the upper and the sole, a torn seam, a broken stud.
- The inside label with the model name and size, if it is still readable.
- The heel from behind, which shows whether the boot is twisted or the heel counter has collapsed.
Tips for clear photos
- Clean off the mud first. Dirt hides cracks and worn studs.
- Use daylight near a window, and turn off the flash.
- Put the boots on a plain floor or table, not on grass.
- Send photos of both boots. Often one side is worn much more than the other.
Tell us three things
- What you want: for example "new AG sole", "fix the gap at the toe", or "make them half a size bigger".
- Where you play: natural grass, artificial turf, futsal court or indoor floor. This decides which sole we recommend.
- Any sole you like from our catalog of 19 replacement soles, by its number.
Do not give up on them yet
The boots in the photo at the top lost almost their whole sole, which came off in pieces. After a full resole they look like the "After" photo. If the upper is still in decent shape, the sole can usually be replaced, so send photos before you throw anything away.
